Two brothers who grew up playing music and singing in a musical family in the Foothills of NC are who make up The Harris Brothers. Reggie and Ryan play a wide range of music from Old Time String Band music to Blues, Country, Rock and nearly everything in between! Fans of the Harris Brothers will tell you that each performance is unique and exciting and there's something everyone will like.
Enthusiastic audiences are not the only ones to benefit from the vast repertoire, talent, and musical knowledge Reggie and Ryan posess. A number of aspiring string musicians have been influenced by them over the years. Both Reggie and Ryan maintain a private studio for instruction on various string instruments.
If you can't get out to hear The Harris Brothers live at one of their upcoming shows, you can hear them on several CDs including "Dead Grass" featuring Vassar Clements, some of the Caldwell Traditional Musicians Showcase CDs, and the Summervilla albums, "Home in the Heart" and "We Got Work to Do." In addition, keep watching here for videos of live performances as well as something for the audio player!
If you need a band for a private party, wedding reception, festival, school performance, or other event, email The Harris Brothers at reggieharris@charter.net or call 828-728-7855.
